- They like low fertility soils and dry conditions.
- In general, Morning Glory are most often sown directly to final containers since plants establish well and tend to be stressed during transplanting (peat pots are good options).
- Often sown directly in the garden, they make a good packet seed plant.
- Best to provide a structure for them to grow on. With no structure plants will form a mat-like mound.
- Habit is affected by temperature; warm temperatures induce more vegetative growth, and cool temperatures induce flowering.
